School Yard Paintings
You will all have noticed the exciting new adventure trail and games painted in the schoolyard over the Easter holidays. Some of the existing games were also freshened up. Two sets of local art students completed this task very successfully over the break. Already the boys are getting great use of this. Some of the money raised in last years Sponsored Walk was allocated to making the junior yard more fun, so it is good to see the money going to something the boys can really enjoy.
Sponsored Walk
The PTA are organising the Sponsored Walk around St Patrick’s college again this year, taking place on Sunday, April 28th. The walk starts in the school yard where everyone participating will be given a Fun Trail Quiz form, to complete along the route. All correct entries will be entered for a draw with a number of sports vouchers to be won. On top of that, all returned Sponsorship cards will be entered for a draw for a fabulous bike. It would be great to see as many families as possible taking part in the fun this year.
