First Aid Talk, New Committee and request for Voluntary Contribution for 2012-13.
First Aid Talk
There was a large attendance on Wednesday 10th of October for the annual PTA talk: ‘Paediatric First Aid’, hosted by Siobhan Butler a Registered General and Paediatric trained nurse and creator of www.firstaidforeveryone.ie.
The talk was extremely informative; covering a large amount of basic first aid theory and practical’s, with Siobhan answering a variety of questions from an engaged audience.
Thanks to all those who attended this event, and a special thanks to Siobhan for a brilliant informative evening.
New Commitee
Following on from last month’s AGM, a new committee has been elected for the coming year. The new office holders, who can all be reached via the Contact Us page, are:
- Chairperson: Keelin Fitzgerald
- Treasurer: Jean Martyn
- Secretary: Mary Murtagh
Voluntary Contribution
It is time to start the term of the new committee with the request for the annual Voluntary Subscription. We have decided to keep the subscription at last year’s reduced rate of €50 per family. To make up any additional funding needs, we will be having a number of events throughout the year starting with a Christmas Card fundraiser.
